MAHLER'S FIFTH SYMPHONY at ST. BART'S
Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 7:30 pm

Performed by the New York City Summer Mahler Project and presented by the Mid Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation and the Sheep Island Ensemble.

All proceeds benefit the Youth Orchestra of the Lower 9th Ward, an El Sistema-inspired program entering its second year.

The New York City Summer Mahler Project is a gathering of top-shelf New York freelancers and orchestral musicians who come together once a year for this good cause. The orchestra includes members of the DeClassified, the ACJW program and New York Philharmonic teaching artists, members of the New Jersey Philharmonic, the Orchestra of St. Luke's, the horn quartet Genghis Barbie, as well as first-call Broadway musicians. This year the orchestra will include members of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. In past years players have included members of the New York Philharmonic.

$20 General Admission and $50 premium seating. (Note a $3 handling fee will be charged for all tickets.)

Tickets are available at THE BOX OFFICE: (212) 378-0248, or PURCHASE SECURELY ONLINE HERE.
