THIRD SOUND
Friday, October 21, 2016 at 7:30 pm in the Chapel

“Forward-looking, expert ensemble Third Sound” (The New Yorker) returned to Great Music at St. Bart’s to open the 2016–17 season.

Following its historic residency at the 2015 Havana Contemporary Music Festival, Third Sound made its US debut with “an impressive night” (New York Classical Review) at St. Bart’s. In anticipation of the ensemble’s return to Havana this fall, Third Sound launched the Great Music season with a preview of its festival program, which offered a unique snapshot of the dynamism and diversity of the contemporary American musical landscape.

Sooyun Kim, flute; Romie de Guise-Langlois, clarinet; Karen Kim, violin; Michael Nicholas, cello; Orion Weiss, piano.
