Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco
The Little Singers of Monaco were founded in 1974 by His Serene, Highness Prince Rainier III, who called them his little singing ambassadors. Performing works by Johann-Sebastian Bach, Michael Haydn, Gabriel Fauré, César Franck, Charles Gounod, Sergei Rachmaninov, Benjamin Britten, Sally DeFord, and French songs.
A Hymn to St. Cecilia: Music of Bach & Britten
Join St. Bartholomew’s Choir for a concert whose subject is the celebration of music itself by two of its most inventive creators: Britten and Bach. The program will include Bach’s motets Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, BWV 225, and Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf, BWV 226.
The Choir of Pembroke College, University of Cambridge
The Choir of Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, performs at St. Bart’s on their first international tour in several years.
Directed by Anna Lapwood, the performance features works from Caroline Shaw, Eric Whitacre, Gerald Finzi, Arvo Pärt and William Byrd.
Actus Tragicus: A Bach Meditation in Holy Week
Join us for a concert in Holy Week including solo and chamber music of Johann Sebastian Bach for voices with recorders, violas da gamba, and organ.

The tradition of Lenten organ recitals at St. Bart’s goes back many decades and Great Music is delighted to offer two of these 40-minute programs this season. Alexander Pattavina takes the console for the second program.

The American Symphony Orchestra
The American Symphony Orchestra and St. Bartholomew’s Church share a connection rooted deep in the history of both institutions. ASO returns to this National Historic Landmark where Leopold Stokowski began his American career as organist and choirmaster of St. Bartholomew’s before founding the ASO in 1962.

Starting at 11 pm, ring in the new year with a fun and festive concert followed by a champagne reception at the stroke of midnight. Hear music from Bach, Franck, and Vierne, to Johann Strauss Sr. and see it played with the organ console out front-and-center.

The Adoration of The Magi
Jeff Morrissey and William Trafka return to St. Bart’s with their popular Christmas program inspired by the elegant paintings that adorn the 1919 Ethel Parsons Paullin and Telford Paullin mural in St. Bartholomew’s Chapel.
